Macario Fernández Fernández has been awarded CEO of the year in the zinc and green aluminium sector for his career at the head of elZinc and LatemAluminium, SA.

On 14 June, the newspaper La Razón presented the 2nd edition of the CEO of the Year Awards, which recognise the work of 25 businessmen and women from different sectors of leading companies in our country. The event, which was held at the newspaper’s headquarters and hosted by Marina Castaño, was attended by the newspaper’s director, Francisco Marhuenda.

Macario Fernández Fernández received the award as CEO of the year in the zinc and green aluminium sector for his trajectory at the helm of elZinc and LatemAluminium, SA. In his speech, he underlined that “this is a recognition of the companies I lead and all their staff, from the first to the last. And, of course, a further commitment that drives me to continue to fight as I have done over the last 50 years”.
